I have been making art for as long as I can remember - it is not something I do, it is something I am. Raised close to the earth in the African farmlands of KZN, my love for art was nurtured from childhood and has grown alongside my love for nature, mythology, music and the magic hidden in plain sight in the world around us.

My work spans an enormous range - from hyper-realistic charcoal portraits that capture the soul behind the eyes, to sweeping oil landscapes, intricate Celtic and sacred symbolic works, botanical studies of African flora, mythological figures, fantasy creatures and everything in between. I work in oils, charcoal, coloured pencil, acrylic and watercolour, on canvas, board and reclaimed wood. I cross boundaries of subject and style freely - from realism to surrealism, from the intimately personal to the cosmically symbolic - because I have always believed that creativity should be as free and diverse as the world that inspires it.

Every piece I make holds within it the simple truth that I have always returned to - the world is extraordinary, if you take the time to truly look.
